Inane thoughts...

Sometimes you see things in a manner so different to someone else. You think you see things the way they are, you think you know exactly where the other person is screwing up and most of all, you think you know what should be done to set it right. Ask someone else and it's highly likely you'd be told your views are right and should be explained and dinned into the other person's head......

Pause for a thought though and it strikes me that no one is senseless really. For all the seemingly inane things you hear, there's always some kind of logic in the decisions that people make, there's always something behind their words, or they wouldn't behave in the manner that they do. After all, no one wants to be senseless. Even a "mad person" has his own logic; we may call it perverted or crazy, but to whatever brain he possesses, his actions are perfectly logical!

Sometimes I see things and wonder just what logic the other person is working on. Sometimes I wonder if I should stop the other person and try to explain what I think......but then I wonder.. We judge things from our own limited perspectives and viewpoints. The person facing the situation sees all that we do and more. This person makes decisions based on what and how the facts appear to be......so, why question the wisdom behind the judgment?

Me first!!!

We all have perspective and I 'almost' agree with you that everybody has reasons to act in a way he/she is doing, however I think that if we are stopping somebody and explaining what we think, we are NOT questioning his judgement, just giving him another point of view which he might have missed. Afterall everybody of us has the right to be aware of all the possibilities. Isnt it?

The one thing this post reminded me of, the most, was "15,Park Avenue".

Watch it, if you have time. Certainly not everyone's movie, but given your present line of thought, chances are you will be able to identify with it.

And i agree with what ankita says, never hurts to flood a person with possibilities.

Hi Shubhra ! :-)

Good to see another post and tht too so soon :). Inane thoughts - why ofcourse ! We so clearly observe this in our everyday life, not only mad persons (who are at times the happiest persons too), but we often wonder about the thought process of each other also, only to decipher its logic by putting ourselves in his/her shoes...

But then again, I strongly believe that even if every 'do-er' has a logic behind his/her actions, it must not clash with the absolute truth of the situation (i.e. NOT Everything is Relative)... otherwise all the wrongs(to others) will be justified (Yes - the conscience and Mind of a criminal DOES tell him he is perfectly right - he doesnt always has a guilt feeling as we may tend to think)

Keep writing :)

question on wisdom comes when your judgment leads to failure.insane person didnt think in logical way.if by logic i think to give fire to my house then this is not a logic.it is simply a madness.
